Education:
Hannah started dancing at the age of 3, began training at The Dance Company at age 9 and continued there throughout high school. In 2024 they graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in Dance. At GVSU, Hannah studied modern, ballet, and jazz, and worked with guest artists in a variety of styles including West African, Hip Hop, and Musical Theater. Throughout their college career they had the opportunity to collaborate with and perform works by various guest artists and faculty choreographers, as well as choreographing and setting original works on fellow students.
Dance Experience:
In their time at GVSU, Hannah performed in guest artist works by Charlie Clark, Renaldo Maurice, and Qeuala Clancy, as well as faculty pieces by Carrie Brueck Morris, Hannah Seidel, Edgar Page, and Carolyn Pampalone-Rabbers, as well as various dance student capstones. They were a member of the student dance organization Momentum, where they performed in and choreographed over 15 pieces. Additionally, Hannah had the opportunity to perform at The Grand Rapids Ballet Summer Dance Festival and the ACDA East-Central Region Conference. Following their senior capstone show, Hannah’s self choreographed solo was selected to be featured in the main stage dance concert. Additional training outside of GVSU includes SALT Contemporary Dance summer intensive and a variety of master classes.
